I’d almost forgotten my resolve for the month of November — to post three things each day that I’m thankful for, right here on the blog in the hopes that making this a public endeavor would force me to actually stick to it. You see, I’m not the greatest at gratitude. But I want to change that.
Being sick this past week, the end of October just snuck up on me, and here we are on November 1st, at the end of the day.
Time to get my thankful on.
Today, I’m so very grateful for:
– 1 –
This man. When I’m under the weather, he goes above and beyond to take care of the kids, the chores, and the dinner. He always smiles and never complains. I got a keeper.
These kids. Despite the days that are filled with tears and tantrums, there are so many moments that take my breath away. Seeing them dressed like this makes me remember why I do what I do each day — hopefully they’re my little Saints in the making.
– 3 –
And speaking of Saints, who could fail to be grateful the intercession of the Church triumphant?! The older I get, the more I realize what awesome friends these beautiful people are, even on the other side of death.
More gratitude coming at ya tomorrow. 🙂
