Five Favorite Scripture Passages for Times of
Depression & Anxiety
There are oh so many verses that could be included in this list. Here are five that speak words of comfort, hope, and peace to me in a special way.

Psalm 34:4-5; 19
I sought the Lord and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 91:11-12; 15-16
Because he clings to Me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name. When he calls to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

In the world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer! I have overcome the world.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
